If u change the file name extension back to ".jpeg", You can actually open and view the picture. As far as I know, It is usually done, when the original file size is very small. By adding it, file size becomes reasonable, it won't considered as spam file. Also some morons do the same to make us consume more bandwidth, as they were paid based on the same.
